It’s normal for teeth to wear down, chip, and even crack or break. Just like maintenance on a car, your teeth will need occasional repairs. Whether due to a cavity, fracture, chipped tooth, or infection, Dr. Tomasik has extensive training in providing optimal restorative solutions for your needs.Using state-of-the-art techniques and materials, Dr. Tomasik can provide the most conservative, natural-looking restorations available, including:
Tooth Colored Fillings
When the bacteria in your mouth feed on particles of sugar and starch that remain in your mouth after eating, they produce an acidic by-product that eats away to tooth enamel. Cavities form in the tooth enamel and, if left untreated, can work their way down into the dentin and pulp layers, causing significant discomfort and requiring invasive treatment. Dr. Tomasik can treat early cavities quickly and conservatively with tooth-colored fillings. Instead of the old-fashioned metal fillings of years past, white, composite resin fillings offer a natural look and an effective method for repairing and protecting your teeth.
Full Mouth Reconstruction
Sometimes, our patients have serious oral health and cosmetic concerns that require a more complex plan of treatment. Dr. Tomasik has the specialized training needed to address full-mouth reconstruction needs and help our patients achieve a beautiful and healthy new smile. At Tomasik Family Dentistry, we believe that to achieve the very best results, we must accomplish three goals:
- Establish a trusting relationship with our patients built on effective, two-way communication
- Use only the highest quality materials and cutting-edge technology
- Maintain a high level of training and continuing education
Dr. Tomasik helps patients who lose their teeth go on to enjoy functional oral health with dental implants. By restoring the ability to eat, speak, and smile with full confidence, dental implants provide smiles that feel and look great. A thorough assessment of your gums, bone, and teeth will allow Dr. Tomasik to determine if implant dentistry is right for you.
Crowns, Bridges & Onlays
Sometimes the damage sustained by a tooth goes beyond what a filling can repair. At Tomasik Family Dental, we have a variety of crowns and bridges to correct cracks, decay, fractures or missing teeth.
Dentures & Partials
Missing teeth can make everyday life a real challenge. Dr. Tomasik provides patients with an array of solutions to restore dental function and self-confidence.
What is a Partial Denture?
A partial denture replaces absent teeth in various parts of the upper or lower arch. It will fit like a puzzle piece with your natural teeth, providing a solid row of teeth. A durable, long-lasting dental solution, a partial is typically secured with clips or brackets. Unlike a bridge (a fixed appliance that replaces one tooth or a few teeth in a row), a partial can be removed for cleaning.
What is a Denture?
A full denture is a complete top or bottom row of teeth mounted on a gum-colored base. Traditional dentures require natural suction or adhesive to hold them in place. Still, they may slip and slide. Over time, friction between dentures and gums will wear down the ridges of the gums. When this occurs, dentures will not fit properly. They must be relined for a better fit.
