DR. OMAR CLOR
After graduating from the University of Iowa, Dr. Clor earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the Boston University School of Dental Medicine. He went on to serve three years in the United States Air Force as an active duty commissioned officer, treating military members at Robins AFB in Georgia.
While in the military, Dr. Clor had a very productive and successful career, earning the 2014 squadron company grade officer of the year, the 2015 customer service award, patient safety award, and a certificate of appreciation from the 78th Air Base Wing. He maintains that his greatest achievement was meeting the dental needs of the men and women who serve.
After honorably fulfilling his military commitment, Dr. Clor decided to move to the Austin area to be near family and friends and enjoy the warm weather. He loves spending time with his wife, Jaclyn, and their two year old son, Roman. He also has a passion for photography, and is a devoted New England Patriots fan!
Although he hated going to the dentist as a child, Dr. Clor absolutely loves being one now. He strives to provide the highest quality dentistry possible while understanding that patient comfort and trust is just as important. Dr. Clor has received advanced training in general dentistry and prosthodontics, and continues to further his knowledge of all things dentistry as an active member of the American Dental Association and Texas Dental Association. While he enjoys all facets of dentistry, he especially loves cosmetic restorations for their artistic requirement.
